Out on a hike at Almaden Quicksilver and was surprised to see a fair amount of new green growth as a result of the very modest fall rains. Lots of mosses and fungi and even a fair amount of grasses sprouting. of course this is mostly happening in the shady areas though it does seem that the trees look a bit greener an the leaves less saggy ( admittedly then green part is probably just a result of the rain washing the dust off). Anyway a great time to get out and hike inbetween storms, clear crisp air and clean plants.
