Hiking the New Almaden Trail in Almaden Quicksilver County Park. I started from the Mockingbird Hill entrance and if you like the sound of rushing streams you better get out here and hike ASAP! (Don't know how long it will last, maybe a couple days of so?) Once you hit the first ravine about a half mile out you are rarely unable to hear the sound of rushing water. I'm at the Prospect Trail junction about 3 miles out and heading up to the Randoll Trail to loop back. You see the same streams just higher up the hill and not nearly as spectacular as on the New Almaden.
Wear your mud shoes cause there's plenty of it out here!
